New Trailer for The Housemaid Starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, a new trailer has been released for The Housemaid, starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried. Directed by Paul Feig, the film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Freida McFadden.
Sydney Sweeney plays a young woman named Millie, who is excited to start over as a housemaid for a wealthy couple named Nina and Andrew. But it doesn’t take long before she realizes the family is hiding dangerous secrets. The screenplay is written by Rebecca Sonnenshine.
Brendan Scannell and Italian actor Michele Morrone, known for 365 Days, also star in the latest film from the director of A Simple Favor and Bridesmaids.
This year, Sweeney suffered three consecutive box office failures with Americana, Eden, and Christy, and hopes to revive her career with The Housemaid after the controversial American Eagle campaign, which many criticized as racist.
In an interview with Variety, Seyfried said about the film: “I don’t know how to explain The Housemaid, but I watched it a few nights ago, and I hadn’t had that much fun in a cinema in ages — I can’t even remember the last time I laughed that hard. And it was while watching my own movie!”
Lionsgate will release The Housemaid on December 19.
